The Pediatric IBD Foundation generates breakthroughs in the care of children with inflammatory bowel disease - primarily Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, the Foundation coordinates, facilitates, augments and finances activities of the Pediatric IBD Consortium. What function does the Foundation perform in its work with and on behalf of the Consortium? There are three basics:

1. Scope. As the saying goes, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The Foundation makes the large and complex Consortium easier to discern, engage and support.

2. Economy. Donations to the Foundation are tax exempt. With tax exempt status, the Foundation is highly competitive for most types of funding for our projects.

3. Accountability. Independent governance of the Foundation assures donors and investors that their resources are transparently and effectively deployed with tangible results.

The Foundation seeks support from government agencies, for-profit corporations, charitable foundations, commercial sponsors, individual donors, volunteers, celebrity endorsements - and most importantly, the families and friends of patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Please GIVE to ensure our success.
